The remembrance pyres blazed upwards into the dark, cold air of the frozen mountains. Marking the site as they did each passing decade, where Arx Tyrannus, the mighty stronghold of the Crimson Fist Chapter once stood. The Space Marines gathered in numbers to remember and honour their fallen.
“They will never be forgotten”, Salbatore swore to himself as he and his fellow Primaris warriors stood taller than their gene-brothers. Head’s helmless and bowed, their left fist held against their chest. This was how the Crimson Fists honoured the Chapter. Salbatore and his company were proud to be here amongst their own. Here on Rynn’s World.
Pedro Kantor led the final procession, as Chapter Master it was he who reminded his Astartes that duty and honour go hand in hand, and that sacrifice would be asked of each and every one of them in their service to the Emperor. Afterwards a Chaplin stepped forth and as the Crimson Fist had always recited, he yelled “There is only the Emperor…”
Salbatore, his Primaris brothers and the entire assembly of Astartes responded profoundly, “He is our Shield and our Protector!”

The gunfire echoed down the streets. Orks were clambering upon the stone roofs, shooting clumsily any chance they had. Sergeant Kozak had had enough of the cat and mouse games it was time the Orks were cleansed from Hornsburgh, a city that had unfortunately found itself in the path of a fallen, infested Rok. “Garcia, advance!”
Kozak had hoped his Tactical Squad could have run down the Orks with little collateral damage. Hornburgh was a quaint, attractive city, untouched from war. The Sergeant had never known a place like it. Now he reserved himself regrettably, that in order to save the city, he would have to soil its beauty. The Razorback roared down the street, emblazed with the symbol of a Crimson Fist. Its twin heavy bolters burst to life as it gunned down Orks, they fell as ripe fruits from a tree. More Orks appeared at the windows above Kozak and his squad, yelling bestial taunts and firing their dancing guns, more for effect than with purpose.
The Razorback continued its onslaught of firepower, stonework exploding from the buildings. The vehicle itself came to a halt. Brother Gonzalez strode out, A Techmarine. His demeanour was one of intent and cause.
“Sergeant, I am being withdrawn…”
“Withdrawn? Under whose orders? We still have a campaign to finish here, albeit two days, but it is our duty nonetheless…”
Gonzalez was listening to his Vox Transmission, Kozak lingered patiently.
“Primaris, Sergeant. They need my support. The details are still coming…it is a Waaagh! ...In a neighbouring sector ...Arx Tyrannus is coming…”
“Arx Tyrannus!?” proclaimed Kozak with surprise, “So Kantor revives our weakness, and turns it into our strength?”
“It would appear so Brother, I for one welcome its revival. It will inspire a new dawn for our chapter.”
“That it will... That it will.”

The Warp broke, splitting open and spewing out into reality, a mighty warship.
Stefano Salbatore stood upon the bridge of his Retribution-Class Captial ship, ‘Arx Tyrannus’, looking out upon a world crying out for salvation.
He and his Primaris Company had arrived at Krillion.
A world overrun with Greenskins. Salbatore was here to enact vengeance and justice upon the aliens that defiled this Imperial World. The Crimson Fists had spent many decades on the brink of extinction, underpowered and undermanned. Now with Cawl’s designs and Guilliman’s blessing it had all changed. The Orks would know the full wrath of the Crimson Fist chapter, a promise long overdue.
